Maruti Suzuki India has launched the fourth-generation Dzire sedan, featuring upgrades and advanced tech enhancements designed to bolster its appeal.
The new car, dubbed the Dazzling New Dzire, has been launched in both petrol and S-CNG variants.
The new Dzire is positioned as one of the most fuel-efficient sedans in its segment, with prices starting at Rs679,000 ($8000) ex-showroom.
The updated Dzire brings a fresh design, characterised by a wider front grille, sharp LED crystal vision headlamps, and redesigned fog lamp housing.
Other design updates include a well-defined shoulder line, a new aero boot lip spoiler, and new 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
At the rear, the sedan gets updated tail lamps and a shark fin antenna.

A key highlight is the 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system, which includes wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, a wireless charger, and Arkamys surround sound.
The sedan also comes with features like an electric sunroof, automatic climate control, cruise control, rear AC vents, and Suzuki Connect.
The new Dzire has made significant strides in terms of safety, scoring a 5-star rating in the latest Global NCAP crash tests.
It is the first Maruti Suzuki model to achieve this prestigious rating. The car is equipped with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill hold assist, and ISOFIX mounts for child safety.
The new sedan comes with Maruti Suzuki’s new Z-Series 1.2-litre 3-cylinder petrol engine, which delivers 80bhp and 112Nm of torque.
Buyers have the option of a 5-speed manual transmission (MT) or an automated manual transmission (AMT).
The petrol variant delivers good fuel efficiency, with the manual version returning a mileage of 24.79 kmpl, while the AMT variant achieves 25.71kmpl.
For those opting for the CNG model, the Dzire offers a mileage of 33.72km/kg.
The new Dzire is available in four variants: LXi, VXi, ZXi, and ZXi Plus, with prices ranging from Rs679000 to Rs1.014m (ex-showroom).
It is available in seven exterior color options, including Splendid Silver, Bluish Black, Magma Grey, Arctic White, Alluring Blue, Nutmeg Brown, and Gallant Red.
