Renault
is to sack 330 of its 2,460 Argentine staff because of falling demand for new
cars, writes Rogério Louro Alves.

Between January and September this year the automaker produced just 21,205
vehicles in Argentina, a fall of 54 percent compared with the 46,056 units made
in the same period of 2000.
