Fastned, a charging company which is building a European network of fast charging stations, said it continued its rapid growth in the first quarter of 2019.
Revenue rose 236% year on year to EUR844,000 as the number of fully electric vehicles on the road continued to grow.
The market share of fully electric cars sold in the Netherlands as a share of new car sales rose to 7.32% in the first quarter of 2019, up from 3.15% in the same quarter of 2018.
The number of active customers rose 174% to 22,717.
The company reported 36,713 charging sessions in March 2019.
Five new stations were brought online: Van der Valk Gladbeck and Melle West; Albert Heijn XL Nijmegen, Pilsting and Oudenhorst, resulting in 90 stations operational by 31 March 2019
