Volkswagen has added dual ‘bags – driver and passenger – while Toyota offering only a driver side ‘bag.

According to Business Standard, the addition is in response to the Indian government’s initiative to improve safety in cars.
However, a Toyota executive said: “It’s a constant product development initiative within the company.”
A Honda official said: “We will offer [airbags] as and when they are made mandatory. There is no technical issue with offering them but the issue is only of cost.”
