Computer and Mathematical Occupations drive auto industry hiring activity
Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Computer and Mathematical Occupations, which accounted for 17% of the total new job postings in Q2 2024 and were down by 33% year-on-year. Second highest were Management Occupations, which accounted for 13% and drop by 43% year-on-year, and third highest were Architecture and Engineering Occupations, which were 15% of the new job postings and 59% higher year-on-year.
Top five companies in auto industry accounted for 41% of hiring activity
The highest number of jobs were posted by Mahindra & Mahindra with 1,122, followed by Robert Bosch with 1,006, while the highest increase was at CEAT at 31%.
