Renault CEO Carlos Ghosn is to ask shareholders for a further four-year mandate at the helm of the French automaker.
Ghosn is to address thousands of shareholders tomorrow (30 April) at a general assembly meeting in Paris at which he will also outline his views on prospects for 2010.
“There is a general assembly tomorrow afternoon at which effectively, he will be presented for an election of four years,” a Renault spokeswoman told just-auto from Paris.
“There will be a 2009 presentation and perspectives for 2010.”
Although not detailing any specific agenda for the general assembly, the spokeswoman said Ghosn would touch on the alliance with Daimler concluded recently in Brussels.
“He will surely speak about the recent Daimler alliance, but there is no specific presentation about that – it is general,” she said. “Shareholders are sure to put questions on a number of subjects.”
