Continental North America chief William Kozyra has been released early from his post to take up a new role as CEO of TI Automotive.
His current employer said after a board meeting in Germany he would leave the post of NAFTA chief he had held since February 2006 on 1 June.
Kozyra’s achievements included the integration of Motorola Automotive activities into Continental.
“The supervisory board thanks Kozyra for all the work he has done during his 10 years as president and CEO of Continental Teves North America and wishes him every success in his new assignment,” it said in a statement.
Samir Salman, head of division chassis and safety NAFTA, was named CEO for North America while Jeff Klei, General Motors key account manager, was appointed president for North America.
