Toyota luxury car brand Lexus on Tuesday (19 September) started selling its flagship LS460 sedan in Japan.

The redesigned model has a completely new interior and exterior design, engine, transmission, platform, suspension and other components and many new technical features.
Lexus will launch a hybrid version badged ‘LS600h’ in Japan next spring along with a long-wheelbase derivative called the LS600hL.
Both will have a newly developed hybrid system that combines a high-performance electric motor with a newly developed five-litre V8 petrol engine.
