Magna has moved its seating business to new headquarters in Novi, Michigan, with space for around 450 employees.
“It’s exciting to begin the next chapter for Magna Seating at our new home, which has been built to suit the needs of our employees and customers for years to come,” said Magna Seating president, Mike Bisson.
“Thank you to all the hard-working people, both within Magna and in the State of Michigan, Novi and Oakland County communities, who helped make this vision a reality. Our new space allows us to be flexible and cost-effective with the ability to communicate globally through the use of intuitive technology.”
Magna employees were surveyed during the planning phases for the new HQ and implementation teams were formed, to define overall design and layout as well as other aspects of the new building.
Magna’s automotive seating systems and mechanisms divisions encompass 50 assembly and manufacturing locations, as well as six global engineering centres.
Magna provides lightweight seat solutions to automakers in North America, South America, Europe and Asia.
