South Korea based KDAC and Katcon have announced that both companies have signed a strategic business alliance that will align their interests and create important synergies when pursuing exhaust business in Korea and in the rest of the world.
The strategic business alliance will expand the relationship between the two companies with the two coordinating their resources, skills and capabilities to pursue selected opportunities in different regions.
Technical centres in Daegu, Korea (KDAC), Luxembourg (Katcon), Monterrey, Mexico (Katcon) and Michigan (Katcon) will be able to design, develop and validate exhaust products at a competitive cost. By coordinating existing resources, customers will benefit from best global practices and efficient implementation, the two say.
After the agreement signing ceremony, Mr. Jose De Nigris, Katcon’s Executive VP for Global Sales & Engineering and President of Katcon USA, Inc. said: “Katcon is very optimistic about the prospects for both companies working together on opportunities in and outside of Korea; the whole KDAC team has demonstrated its commitment to the success of this business alliance.
