Kongsberg Automotive’s Driveline business area has clinched a deal with “a major European OEM” to supply complete manual gear shifter systems.
The systems will be used in B segment cars which will be sold in Europe under two different brands.
The contract has an estimated total value of EUR30m (NOK264m) over its four year duration.
Production at KA’s factory in Cluses, France will start in the second half of 2017 with peak volume expected in 2019.
