Skoda increased its deliveries worldwide in July by 3.1% to 102,700 units (July 2018: 99,700 vehicles), achieving the best July in its history.
High demand for SUV models played a major role in the brand's growth.
In western Europe, deliveries increased by 12.3% year on year to 45,600 vehicles (40,600).
German sales rose 16.2% to 18,600 in the largest single European market (16,000), French sales rose 24.2% to 3,000, Italy volume rose 31.2% to 2,500, by 58% to 1,800 in the Netherlands, 84% to 1,400 in Sweden, 17.5% to 1,100 in Denmark and 38.4% to 300 in Greece.
In central Europe, sales rose 11.2% to 17,500.
In eastern Europe excluding Russia, deliveries increased 18.4% to 4,900.
