Minerva Matibag has been appointed by General Motors Korea as its new Chief Financial Officer effective 1 February.
The role also includes responsility for the firm’s operations in Uzbekistan and Vietnam, two markets where the Daewoo brand still exists. The new appointee is currently the CFO of GM’s Brazilian operations.

The incumbent GM Korea CFO, Carlos Zarlenga, has been promoted to CFO for both GM’s Brazil and South America units, the company notes in a statement.
