Land Rover has received an award at the ‘National Cream Awards Grand Prix’ for its recruitment induction CD-ROM in the ‘Best Use of Multi-Media’ category.

The CD-ROM is the first of its kind for Land Rover and is aimed at the company’s annual intake of new employees, of which over 40 will join the company this year – primarily through the graduate recruitment programme.

The winning feature of the CD-ROM was its personalised element, which allows the narrative to refer to the new recruit by name and describe useful information applicable to the position the employee is to fill.

Receiving the award, Land Rover’s recruitment manager, Graham Thompsett, said: “It is innovative tools like this that enable us to attract and retain the best talent for our business and to maintain our competitive edge.”
