Dana Corporation, which filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection in the US on Friday, on Monday said that that vice president and chief financial officer Robert Richter has retired from the company.

Richter, who will be a consultant to the components maker for an unspecified period, joined Dana with its acquisition of the former General Ohio S&L Corporation, which he joined in 1974.


He was appointed CFO of Dana in 1999.
