Samsung Electronics subsidiary Harman has launched Ready Aware, a vehicle-to-cloud software service, at MWC Barcelona 2025.
This new vehicle-to-network (V2N) solution offers real-time contextual insights to drivers, improving safety and situational awareness.
It is also accessible to OEMs in North America, Europe, and India for integration into both new and existing connected vehicles.
Ready Aware’s digital approach provides drivers with “precise, relevant, and near time” alerts for better situational awareness at intersections and various road hazards.
The service supports over 15 use cases, including warnings for objects on the road and stationary vehicles.
In a news release, the company said Ready Aware is the “first V2N solution” to deliver production-ready alerts for ‘hard braking ahead’, enabling drivers to react swiftly to sudden traffic congestion.

By GlobalDataThe ‘sight beyond sight’ capability of Ready Aware is designed to aid drivers in making safer decisions.
By utilising data from road hazards, intersections, and connected vehicles, the solution enhances driver awareness.
Harman International connectivity portfolio management global vice president Suman Sehra said: “Harman leverages over a decade of vehicle-to-everything expertise to deliver contextually meaningful alerts that help drivers make safer decisions on the road.
“Ready Aware is an innovative and highly scalable solution that is helping OEMs transform their in-vehicle experiences by bringing contextual awareness into the cabin with an accelerated time to market. Harman is harnessing the power of connectivity and data analytics to make mobility safer, more intelligent, and contextually aware to support drivers and occupants.”
At MWC 2025, Harman announced a collaboration with HERE Technologies to develop advanced V2X driver assistance systems.
These systems are intended to help automotive OEMs meet the requirements of the Euro NCAP 2026 driver assistance programmes.
Ready Aware is hardware agnostic, functioning over 4G and 5G networks, and is compatible with Android or Linux systems.
It is also designed to be future-proof, accommodating additional latency-sensitive use cases involving vehicles and pedestrians through cloud updates.
For existing connected vehicles, Ready Aware can be implemented via over-the-air (OTA) updates, and it can also be integrated into new production vehicles.
